Sudbury Neighbourhood Centre is a local, UK registered charity which is governed by a Board of Trustees.
The Board currently consists of 7 trustees, and we are actively looking for new people to join and strengthen the Board in order to support the ongoing development and transformation of the Centre.
All our Trustees are volunteers who are not paid and give their time and expertise freely and generously to support the Centre.
The Board of Trustees are responsible for the overall governance and strategic direction of the Centre, developing the Centre’s aims, objectives and goals in accordance with its constitution, monitoring its performance, ensuring it is being managed efficiently and effectively and operates within the law.
We are recruiting new Trustees
As mentioned above we are now recruiting new Trustees to support the ongoing development and transformation of the Centre. We need people with experience/skills in the following areas:
- Business / Finance management
- Fundraising
- Governance
- HR
- Legal
- Social care
- Senior management experience at a strategic level.
Our Board of Trustees works closely with the Centre’s Chief Executive to meet the objectives of the charitable company.
We welcome people from the widest possible diversity of background, culture and experience to help ensure the Board is representative of the communities we serve.
