At the Centre we provide over a thousand freshly prepared lunches per month to over 250 elderly and disabled clients. We plan our meals according to the dietary and nutritional requirements of our day care users, and cater for any special dietary requirements. Lunches are served in a relaxed environment in our main hall by our trained staff and volunteers, who ensure that all our services users have the opportunity to eat a balanced and nutritional meal in a bright and caring environment and assist those less able when required. Lunch consists of a meat or vegetarian main course, followed by a delicious dessert, followed by tea and coffee.
All the food we serve in the Centre is freshly prepared at the beginning of each day by our trained and qualified catering staff, using all the facilities in our professional kitchen. We carefully observe the latest food hygiene regulations and ensure that the food we serve is safe. We do not serve heated pre-packed frozen meals and pride ourselves on the high standard of catering that we offer.
Our menus are carefully produced each week to provide a wide variety of culinary choices, and we try as far as possible to meet individual’s cultural food preferences.
As well as providing lunch for clients attending the Centre for the day, we can provide freshly cooked meals to local care homes and day care centres delivered by our experienced minibus drivers.
