Links & Images
Links have been written to make sense out of context.
All images include an ‘alt’ attribute. All images are optimised to reduce file size without compromising quality. This is to facilitate fast download times for all users, regardless of the speed of their internet connection. However, users with only a dial-up connection may experience extended download times on certain pages
The website has been tested in all major browsers and on a variety of mobile devices.
We want everyone who visits the Camden Disability Action website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.
What are we doing?
To help us make the Sudbury Neighbourhood Centre website a positive place for everyone, we’ve been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user-friendly for everyone. The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the Camden Disability Action website.
How are we doing?
We’re not quite there yet, but we are working towards achieving our goal of Level AA accessibility and we realise there are some areas that still need improving.
Currently, our video presentations do not meet Level AA because they don’t have either a text version or audio description.
