Who we are
We are a charitable company that has been providing a unique day care experience for older adults since 1979. Many of our clients are living with dementia, learning disabilities or other health conditions, and require specialist care and support. Apart from day care, we run a varied programme of community activities and events throughout the year including ICT and art classes, music therapy, chair based exercise, outings and day trips, celebratory events, and specialist services including chiropody. We support over 25 clients per day and in addition run a varied programme for the local community. We aim to provide the best possible experience for all of our users, and the whole community.

The role
We are looking to recruit an experienced part-time Care Worker, with a qualification in Health and Social Care (e.g. NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, or Diploma in Health and Social Care) and have suitable work experience in a day care setting, ideally having worked with adults with dementia, learning disabilities or another health condition. The hours of work are from 1-5pm each day, Monday to Friday, and is a permanent position. The role includes providing group and one-to-one support to our users, leading and supporting activities and events, feeding clients, toileting, and escorting clients home on our minibuses.
